IBM Page Detailer
http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/pagedetailer

The IBM Page Detailer is a straightforward tool for letting you visualize web components as they’re being downloaded. It latches onto your browser, so all you have to do is navigate to the desired site with the IBM Page Detailer open. Clicking on a web page component opens a window with the relevant details associated with it. Whenever an event occurs (such as a script being executed), the tool opens a window with information about the processes.

Robot Fighting League Videos

Remember the TV show Robot Wars? Well, just because it is not on the tube any longer doesn't mean the following is gone. Take a few minutes and consider how you would performance test one of these bots. Not as easy as you might first think...

Welcome to year 3 of the Stress Team - Link of The Week!

Introduction to Software Engineering - Chapter 1

This is an excerpt from the book by Smith and Williams. This chapter consists of justification and ROI for performance engineering... something I typically skipped because I thought I knew it. I submit that now that we are aggressively moving toward performance engineering that the ability to evangelize its merits is important and this is probably worth a read.
